Order of Services for November, 2025

November 2 — Sunday 21st after Pentecost. Tone 4. 9:30 a.m. – Confession. 10:00 a.m. – Morning Liturgy.

November 9 — Sunday 22nd after Pentecost. Tone 5. 9:30 a.m. – Confession. 10:00 a.m. – Morning Liturgy.

November 15 (Saturday) — Beginning of the Nativity Fast.

November 16 — Sunday 23rd after Pentecost. Voice 6. 9:30 a.m. – Confession. 10:00 a.m. – Morning Liturgy.

November 23 — Sunday 24th after Pentecost. Tone 7. 10:00 a.m. – Morning Liturgy. Commemoration of all who died by famine in Ukraine. General Confession during the Liturgy and a Panakhyda.

November 30 — No Liturgy.

OUR PARISH

The Ukrainian Orthodox Parish of St. Mary the Protectress was formed in 1952 primarily by people from Eastern Ukraine who had undergone the horrors of the famine-genocide of 1932-33, the brutal occupation by the Communist regime, the terrors of war and the uncertainties of emigration to a new land whose official languages were unknown to them.
