Confession every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.

March 2 – Syrupy Sunday, Forgiveness Sunday. Commemoration of Adam’s expulsion from paradise. Chapter 3. 9:30. Morning Liturgy. Confession at 9:15 . After the Liturgy – the rite of forgiveness (Vespers).

March 3 – The beginning of Lent.

March 9 – 1st Sunday of the Great Lent. The triumph of Orthodoxy. Chapter 4. Confession at 9:30. 10:00. Morning Liturgy.

March 16 – 2nd Sunday of the Great Lent. Chapter 5. Confession at 9:30. 10:00 . Morning Liturgy. .

March 23 – 3rd Sunday of the Great Lent, the Sunday of the Cross. Hymn 6. Confession at 9:30. 10:00. Morning Liturgy.

March 30 – 4th Sunday of the Great Lent, the Cross. Chapter 7. Confession at 9:30. 10:00. Morning Liturgy.

OUR PARISH

The Ukrainian Orthodox Parish of St. Mary the Protectress was formed in 1952 primarily by people from Eastern Ukraine who had undergone the horrors of the famine-genocide of 1932-33, the brutal occupation by the Communist regime, the terrors of war and the uncertainties of emigration to a new land whose official languages were unknown to them.
