Вшанування пам’яті жертв Голодомору | Загальна сповідь
Листопадове вшанування пам’яті жертв Голодомору в Українській Православній Церкві Святої Покрови є традиційним для української православної громади в Монреалі. Вже 71 рік у нашому храмі ми молимося за жертви жахливого штучного голоду, організованого радянською владою на
українських землях у 1932-33 роках.
А також в цей день, під час Святої Літургії, ми проводимо загальну сповідь. Цього ж дня, дорогі мої, ви маєте унікальну можливість звернутися в молитві до нашого Господа і Спасителя Ісуса Христа і попросити визволення від оков гріха. Наголошую і закликаю вас, брати і сестри, напередодні цього дня, зробити короткий іспит совісті та утриматися від надмірного споживання їжі і пиття, щоб причастившись Тіла і Крові Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, ми зцілилися душею і тілом!
Нехай Боже благословення буде зо всіма Вами!!!

Commemoration of the Holodomor victims | General confession
The November commemoration of the Holodomor victims at the St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a tradition for the Ukrainian Orthodox community in Montreal. For 71 years in our church, we have been praying for the victims of the terrible man-made famine deliberately organized by the Soviet authorities on Ukrainian lands in 1932-33.
Also, on this day, during the Holy Liturgy, we offer a general confession. On this same day, my dear ones, you have a unique opportunity to turn in prayer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and ask for deliverance from the shackles of sin. I emphasize and urge you, brothers and sisters, on the eve of this day, to make a short examination of conscience and to refrain from excessive consumption of food and drink so that by partaking of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, we may be healed in body and soul!

Commémoration des victimes de l’Holodomor | Confession générale
La commémoration en novembre des victimes de l’Holodomor à l’église orthodoxe ukrainienne Sainte-Marie-la-Protectrice est une tradition pour la communauté orthodoxe ukrainienne de Montréal. Depuis 71 ans, dans notre église, nous prions pour les victimes de la terrible famine provoquée délibérément
par les autorités soviétiques sur les terres ukrainiennes en 1932-1933.
De plus, en ce jour, au cours de la Sainte Liturgie, nous offrons une confession générale. Ce même jour, mes chers amis, vous avez une occasion unique de vous tourner dans la prière vers notre Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ et de demander à être délivrés des chaînes du péché. J’insiste et je vous exhorte,
frères et sœurs, à la veille de ce jour, à faire un bref examen de conscience et à vous abstenir de toute consommation excessive de nourriture et de boisson, afin qu’en participant au Corps et au Sang de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, nous puissions être guéris dans notre corps et dans notre âme !
Que la bénédiction de Dieu soit avec vous tous !!!
