y being born we become members of the vast human family. Alas this family is subject to the inevitability of death. God does not intend for His human children to be captive in the dominion of sin and death. Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, became Man so that through Him we could be joined to God so that death would no longer reign over us.
We are born anew in the Holy Mysteries and become members of the divine-human family, the Church. Our Parish is part of that Church. Through our participation in the life of the Parish, it’s Services, it’s fellowship, its testimony to God’s eternal Kingdom we are all members of that Church. At the same, since we are an earthly community which has material as well as spiritual needs, we rely upon our members to declare and commit themselves to registered membership.
We invite and encourage you to get in touch with our Rector, Fr. Ihor, or members of the Church Council, which is elected at our Annual General Meetings to do that by completing a form.
You are not obliged to do so – we welcome you as you are, but we would be most grateful if you did – if you have not already done so.
